Our compressor room is a point of pride
There is nothing more important than having clean air and we have always taken care to make sure every air fill is perfect.
We regularly test our air quality, and in over 15 years it has always been top notch.
And every single tank fills gets the “sniff test” from the filling staff.
We have five working L&W compressors with redundancy to ensure should one or more break down during busy times, we will still be able to fill. Our latest “baby” is a 450 bought in 2020. So you can rest safe that even at peak holiday times, you will never be short of a tank. And of course we have a nitrox filling station as well.
Our tec department offers 100% oxygen fills and trimix.

Only the best rental gear
We know that when you rent diving equipment you are putting your trust in us completely, so all equipment is serviced and replaced regularly.
Our rental equipment is all top quality, name-brand gear that has consistently rated highly in consumer tests including Scubapro, Aqualung, Mares and Cressi.
We have over 40 complete sets. For keeping safe post-covid, this allows us to rotate sets after use, to give it at least a few days since last use, We will assign you a set for the duration of your stay, and you will get free mouthpiece for your use when you arrive.
BCDs: We use the hard wearing and strong Mares Rovers and Aqualung Waves.
Regulators: Scubapro MKII, R190s and R295s which meet breathing standards obtained by some of the best regs on the market.
Fins: Instead of tropical full foot fins we use open heel fins, together with high and low-backed booties in wide variety of sizes, so your ankles will not rub.
Tanks: Most of our tanks are yoke, but many are adaptable to fit yoke regs. It’s still a good idea to bring a DIN adapter, just in case. We also have plenty of nitrox tanks and a limited number of 15 liter air and nitrox tanks.
Wetsuits: Full length 2.5mm in male and female sized. We have limited sizes of shorties.
Oscar’s Restaurant is one of the best restaurants on Malapascua and serves a great mix of international dishes, with an ever changing menu.
We also offer a selection of traditional Filipino dishes, made with top quality ingredients, but priced with the budget traveller in mind.
And not to be missed, our famous invention – the Paratha Curry Roll, a firm favourite among newbies and regular alike!
We have a great happy hour every day starting at 4pm, just in time to get a couple of beers or cocktails in before watching the sunset either from our beach, from the first floor open bar, or from the one-of-a-kind second floor roof area withe 360 degree view of Malapascua!
