Swimming & Beach Bumming
We are on an island after all and there is nothing better when you aren’t diving to be laying on the beach under the sun or a palm tree, sipping on your favourite juice or cocktail.
There is some beautiful beachfront outside TSD, but if you are looking for a different beach, we recommend that you head to the North Beach. You can even see the famous Gato Island from there!
We can help you organize a tour of the island on a motorcycle.
We do not recommend you drive the motorcycle yourself as there are a lot of small roads. You’ll be able to visit places such as: Lapus Lapus Beach, Los Bamboos, The lighthouse, North Beach and a few other places.
Sunsets
Malapascua has some gorgeous sunsets that you can take advantage of by having a stroll on the beach from the village or simply staying at TSD and enjoy it from our private beach or rooftop bar.
We also have gorgeous sunrises but you will definitely experience those on your way to Monad Shoal where you will see the thresher sharks.
What an adrenalin rush! Only the most daring will jump off this 50 ft cliff at Los Bambos!!!
And The view of the rock formations here and the neighboring beaches are simply stunning
Barbecue on the Beach
Enjoy charcoal grilled chicken and pork satay Filipino style and take pot luck with the freshest ingredients on the island!
Accompanied of course by your favorite drink from our beach bar!
For those very special occasions we will cook up the Filipino national dish – Lechon Baboy – roasted suckling pig!
A trip to the Philippines is not complete without karaoke! Filipinos love their karaoke and Malapascua is no exception! It can be heard all around the island, but usually stops around 10pm.
Grab a drink, sit down with the locals and sing your heart away!
There are regular live bands around the island and at TSD, Filipinos are known for being amazing singers and musicians – it must be all that karaoke!
Just ask us for the latest schedule when you are here.
Happy Hour
TSD has their own happy hour from 4pm to 7pm so grab that bucket of beer or have one of our special 2 for 1 cocktails and come talk about your awesome diving day with your dive buddies or one of our staff.
Share those pictures you have taken with us.
Enjoy a cruise around the island in the late afternoon, with a plentiful supply of alcohol on board!
We often stop for snorkeling, you can take a turn at driving the boat, and it is a great chance for photos.
Included at no extra charge is our daily mind-blowing sunset!
Local food
The market in Malapascua has expanded recently and there is a lot of niche local food places for a low price. If you want to try some of the local delicacies and BBQ, this is the place to go! You’ll also come across small businesses selling freshly cooked food all over the island.
Snorkeling Trips
Let us arrange your snorkeling trip for you.
We also offer a free “Scuba Tryout” on these trips. You will be taken to a picture perfect beach and it includes a beach BBQ.
