We offer everything from a 5 day PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (OWSI) course to a 7 month PADI internship to go from non-diver to PADI Instructor.
Career development
If you are already a PADI Instructor, we offer a range of continuing education courses, including Specialty Instructor, MSDT and Staff Instructor programs. We offer regularly scheduled courses but they can all be scheduled on demand.
Our PADI IDC course includes several parts:
PADI IDC Preparation Course
This is optional but highly recommended for anyone who has not recently completed their PADI Divemaster with Thresher Shark Divers. It is a 2-6 day course that will make sure your skills and theory are at instructor level so that you will be able to pass the IE Instructor Exam. Duration depends of level of tuition required.
Prerequisites
- Be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver or have completed the Adventure Deep dive.
- Be in good physical condition for diving and submit a medical exam form signed by a physician.
Our PADI diving instructors have been though a rigorous training program and each has many years of teaching experience with hundreds of students.
We take great pride in teaching students of any level. Diving lessons are almost always one-on-one, and there will usually be an assistant as well. So you will get individual attention and diving instruction will go at your own pace.

Project Aware
At the end of this course we encourage a donation to Project Aware, PADI’s non-profit conservation group, to aid shark conservation.
You will receive a special Project Aware PADI certification card with a shark on the front.
