PADI DSAT Tec Rec Diver Courses
The DSAT Tec Deep and Trimix Courses are broken down into an integrated sequence of several sub courses. You can complete these courses at any time, separately or all at once. This gives you learning efficiency, instructional integrity and schedule flexibility. Each level introduces you to new gear, planning and procedures appropriate to extend your diving limits.
if you want to go beyond 50 meters, it time to add some helium and get into trimix! Again there are several courses: the intro Trimix 45 and Trimix 50, and then Trimix 65 and the full Trimix course which includes training dives as deep as 90 meters!
If you are thinking about technical diving but aren't sure, DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards other DSAT programs. Great even for Open Water divers, and only 10 logged dives are required!
If you are interested in technical diving and would like to complete your first course, the PADI DSAT Tec 40 course is a great choice. Tec 40 certifies you to dive up to 40 meters using up to 50% oxygen for stops with a maximum of 10 minutes decompression. Minimum of 4 dives over 4 days.

Sidemount is an equipment configuration which has tanks mounted alongside the diver, below the shoulders and along the hips, instead of on the back. It's the new craze in scuba diving and can be done either as a recreational course of a technical course.
The purpose of the Self-Reliant Diver specialty course is to recognize and accept the role of the buddy system and its contributions to diver safety while identifying and developing self-reliance and independence while diving. It is a great course for experienced divers, photographers and dive professionals.
For the extreme diver ready to further explore the world of technical deep diving, the gas of choice is trimix – a blend of oxygen, helium and nitrogen.
